President Trump names his pick for the Supreme Court tonight.

We'll see how that goes.

Early Aide

The aide came 40 minutes early yesterday morning.

Crazy.

Winter

We had snow last night, and the forecast is for more cold and snow.

Winter is back.

Cuff

The wrist blood pressure cuff that was here seems to be missing.

I never use it, anyway.

Again

My daytime aide company missed yet another shift yesterday afternoon.

It's amazing.

Going Out

The company nurse was here recently, and she asked me whether my team leader had "made me" go out in the nice weather.

Frankly, I find her assumption that I should legitimately be made to do inconsequential things to be insulting.

Again

My daytime aide company again failed to cover the Saturday dinner shift, so I ate supper at 10 o'clock.

It says it has that shift covered on a regular basis from now on.  We'll see.

President Trump

Donald Trump is now President of the United States.

I hope he succeeds.

For a while last summer I was getting 20-30 emails a day, and they weren't all about politics.   Lately, it's been down to 4-5 a day.

Odd.

Dog

A couple aides have commented recently that I should get a dog for companionship.

That would be nice,  but my situation is not right for that.   Hopefully someday.

Weather

We're having really mild weather this week.

I hope it continues.

Super Bowl Picks

The NFL finally had a couple good playoff games yesterday.

I'm picking the Falcons and the Steelers to play in the Super Bowl.

Freezing Rain

It's going to be another tough weekend weather wise.

I hope aides show up.

Feeling Good

I feel better today than I have in a while.

I guess it's the mild weather.

Tuesday Afternoons

For some reason, my daytime aide company has trouble staffing my Tuesday afternoon shift.  The company scrambled and filled it well enough yesterday, but every week is a bit uncertain.

Odd.

Aides

It's amazing how many times some aides go to the bathroom.

Last night, the aide went twice before giving me supper.

Long Weekend

It was a long weekend.  My sinuses were acting up, my daytime aide company missed another shift, and all four NFL playoff games were duds.

I'm glad it's over.

Indiana Winter

We are now truly in the depths of winter, with snow and bitter cold.

Still, it's supposed to warm into the 50s again next week.  Go figure.

Mike DeBord

I see the new IU football coach seems to be hiring Mike DeBord as his offensive coordinator.

Mike and I played together as very little boys.  Our mothers were friends.

Aides

Hopefully, the issues with aides are settled for now.  A regular pattern has been established.

This is a good thing.

TWILIGHT ZONE

I watch the old  TWILIGHT ZONE TV shows on Syfy Channel on New Year's Day as a sort of tradition, but I forgot it this year.

I think the fact that it was on Sunday threw me off.

Weather

This up and down weather is wrecking my sinuses.

I wish it would stay one way or the other till spring.
