STAR TREK

I watched the first episode of the new STAR TREK series Sunday night.

It was loud, I'll give it that.

Colts

The good news is that the Colts won yesterday.

The bad news is that they had to hang on to beat a bad team.

Good News

The urologist said yesterday that I'm still cancer free, and that the type of cancer I had won't kill me even if it recurs.

He's never said that before.

Urologist

I go to the urologist today for a scope.

Parking Lot

They're working on the parking lot here, and somebody banged on my door early this morning to tell my aide to move his car.

We were in the bathroom.  It was interesting.

Fall

Autumn might come in on 90 degree days.

I see, though, that some leaves have already turned.

Aides

I have a daytime aide who gets so hot in here she brought her own fan yesterday, and a nighttime aide who gets so cold she wore her padded jacket last night.

Ir's bizarre.

Heat

It's supposed to get hot again this weekend.

It could be the last real heat until next spring.

Joe

My brother Joe has been accepted into a clinical trial.

New Aide

I have a new aide this week.

We'll see how he works out.

Dark

It's getting dark earlier now, so I probably won't be going out after supper again till next spring.

The Colts were blasted by the Rams yesterday.

It wasn't pretty.

I have s nephew in the Coast Guard down there.

I could've almost predicted it.

So, the Colts won again last night, and IU got blasted by Ohio State.

Ball State opens its season tomorrow against Illinois.
