I'm still working on my new novel.

It'll be over 400 pages.

High Schools

IPS wants to close 3 of its 7 high schools.

It's hard to believe a city the size of Indy only needs 4 high schools.  Of course, there are private schools, too.

MLB All Stars

I voted for the major league All-Star teams Sunday.

We'll see how many of my guys make it.

My daytime aide company failed to staff another shift Saturday.

It's getting very old.

Folorunso

My aide Folorunso got here as usual last night, but he stayed till after 11 this morning.

Summer

Summer is here and so is the heat.

It's no fun.

It seems Marsh grocery stores are finished.

Well, I had an easy weekend.  The same aide did all the shifts.

She is also a nice lady.

We've had some great weather last night and this morning.

Dennise

I  saw my aide Dennise on Channel 4 news last night talking about the foundation she started, which builds parks that are friendly to the disabled.

It was fun seeing her.

Ham Burger

I watch the old PERRY MASON TV shows most mornings.   The district attorney Perry usually beats is Hamilton Burger.  Ham Burger.

I wonder if that was an inside joke.

Thunder

We've been hearing thunder.

Hopefully, the storms today won't be too bad.

Saturday

My daytime aide company failed  to staff two shifts Saturday.

My other company covered, but it shouldn't have to.

Weekend

The weekend aide situation looks a bit iffy.

I hope it works out.

Aides

The aide situation has been good this week.

Corgi

I was out with Yodit Monday night, and we watched a guy playing fetch with his Corgi.

I hear they are wonderful little dogs.

Birdless

Maintenance came yesterday and got the bird out of the laundry area.

It's quiet again.

Bird

A bird seems to be trapped in my washing machine area.

We've heard chirping since yesterday afternoon.

Donuts

Today, according to CNBC, is National Donut Day.

I got some donut holes at SAM's.

Going Out

We're having a run of nice weather.

I'll probably go out after supper.
