My brother Joe passed away early this morning from liver cancer.  He was 58.

Joe was a sweet-natured man, probably the most like Dad in temperament of all the boys.  He leaves his wife, four kids, and one granddaughter.  He will be terribly missed.

For a while last summer I was getting 20-30 emails a day, and they weren't all about politics.   Lately, it's been down to 4-5 a day.

I see the new IU football coach seems to be hiring Mike DeBord as his offensive coordinator.

Mike and I played together as very little boys.  Our mothers were friends.

Aides

Hopefully, the issues with aides are settled for now.  A regular pattern has been established.

This is a good thing.

TWILIGHT ZONE

I watch the old  TWILIGHT ZONE TV shows on Syfy Channel on New Year's Day as a sort of tradition, but I forgot it this year.

I think the fact that it was on Sunday threw me off.

Weather

This up and down weather is wrecking my sinuses.

I wish it would stay one way or the other till spring.
