My Pirates are off to a slow start this baseball season.

Luckily, so are the other teams in their division.

Supper

My aide last night talked on the phone all through my supper.

It was annoying.

Teeth

One of my aides brushes my teeth with an electric toothbrush, but doesn't turn it on.

It does a good job, though.

Novel

I'm closing in on 300 pages in the novel I'm writing.

I hope to finish this summer.

Weather

We're supposed to get some more warm weather this week.

Hopefully it sticks this time.

Pacers

I watched the Pacers game last night.

If they couldn't win that game, they might as well quit.

Better Weather

I'm feeling better because the changing weather is calming down.

Hopefully, I'm good till autumn.

Dentist

I had a dental check up this morning.

Everything is fine.

Lunar Summit

In October, a conference will be held in Hawaii bringing together representatives of space agencies from around the world and people from the private sector to develop a plan to build a base on the Moon.

It's a follow-on to the conference I helped organize in 2014.

Jeff

My daytime aide company failed to staff a shift again yesterday, so my brother Jeff came over.

That worked fine yesterday, but it can't happen on a regular basis.

Spring

It might hit 80 today after snow flurries last week.

Such is spring in the Midwest.

Bathroom

It's interesting how many times aides use the bathroom while they're here.

They'll go two or three times a shift sometimes.

Pirates

I watched my Pirates last night for the first time this season.

They lost.

Weather

I'm actually warm today.

I hope the weather settles in so my sinuses calm down.

Joe

The tumor on my brother Joe's liver is growing again.

April 6

April 6 was the 100th anniversary of the American entry into World War I.

It marked the emergence of the U. S. as a major world power, and, in some ways, marks the beginning of the American Century.

Snow

We're supposed to have snow tonight.

Very odd.

Cincinnati Reds

I think I'm going to watch a Cincinnati Red game tonight.

They probably won't be any good this year, but I like to check out various teams early in the season.

UNC NCAA Champs

UNC won the national championship last night.

IU beat them in the regular season, and I think Notre Dame did, too.  Oh, well.
