My regular Thursday aide tells me the company tried to send her someplace else today, but it couldn't find anybody to come here.

The major league baseball season opens Sunday night.

I hope my Pirates are in the mix this year.

Miller Time

Archie Miller is IU's new head men's basketball coach.

He seems a good choice, though I might have given Tom Crean another year.

Tar Heels

The NCAA Final Four has three power teams and one dark horse.

I'm picking North Carolina to win it all.

Butler

So, Purdue lost.  Tonight, Butler plays North Carolina.

I think the Bulldogs have an outside chance.

Purdue

Purdue plays Kansas in the NCAA Tournament tonight.

I think the Boilers will win.

I'm feeling a little better today.

Last night was no fun, though.

I'm still feeling crummy today because of my sinus drainage.

I had a dental appointment early in the morning, but it will need to be rescheduled.

Indiana teams are undefeated in the NCAA Tournament so far.

We'll see how long that lasts.

My picks for the NCAA Final Four are Duke, Arizona, Louisville, and UCLA.

Well, IU is out of the NIT.

They simply made too many mistakes all season.

Some NCAA Tournament games are on Tru-tv, and I found out this morning I can't get it.

Bummer.

Snow

We're finally getting another snow.

Hopefully, it'll be the last of the season.

I have a sinus headache today.

I haven't been able to get the MLB Network all winter, but I tried this morning, and it was on.

I hope it stays on through the baseball season.

It's probably been years since my AOL verbally announced "You have mail," but it started doing it again last week.

I  have no idea why it stopped or why it started again.

Larisha

One of my aides today is Larisha.

She's very thin and young, and I tease about her hair sometimes, but she's also very strong and good at her job.  We get along well, and I trust her completely.

Querying Tips

A published novelist is giving me tips on writing query letters to literary agents.

We'll see what happens.

Blood Pressure II

I emailed the new nurse about the blood pressure issue yesterday, and it seemed to be worked out.

That's good.
