I got test results back from my physical.

My Pirates beat the Dodgers on a 10th-inning home run that broke up a no-hitter.

Pretty cool.

Physical

I had my annual physiical this morning.

All is well.

Eclipse

The total eclipse yesterday was a big deal across the country.

Too bad it was cloudy here.

Colts

The Colts lost another preseason game Saturday.

They may have found a running back, though.

Joe

My brother Joe isn't doing well in his cancer fight.

Age Stuff

I have an aide who I like, but she's constantly telling me how she's getting old.

In fact, she's young enough to be my daughter.

Acid Reflux

I'm taking a  new antacid for acid reflux.

I'm feeling much better.

A Good Change

My daytime aide company had a couple blown shifts yesterday, but it covered them both.

That's good.

Colts

The Colts lost another preseason game yesterday.

I know it really doesn't matter, but it is annoying.

Weekend

My weekend shifts seem to be covered.

That's good.

New Aide

A new aide is orienting with me today.

She seems nice.

Novel

I finally finished the first draft of my new novel yesterday.

Now comes rewrites.

Muncie

They're having all sorts of trouble in my home town of Muncie.

It's a shame.

Easy Weekend

I had an easy weekend.

The same aide was here all six shifts.

Baseball

I got to watch my Pirates play three games this week.

Unfortunately, they lost two of them.

Air

Aides keep turning off the air conditioning.

I don't notice it until I get hot.

Good News

My daytime aide company has already covered almost every shift this month.

I love it.

Again

My daytime aide company blew the dinner shift yesterday.

My overnight aide came an hour early to cover.
