In Memorial

Today is Joe's memorial service in Lima, Ohio.

They should have a nice day for it.

Grief

I'm having a tougher time with Joe's death today than yesterday.

My brother Joe passed away early this morning from liver cancer.  He was 58.

Joe was a sweet-natured man, probably the most like Dad in temperament of all the boys.  He leaves his wife, four kids, and one granddaughter.  He will be terribly missed.

The temperature is still bouncing up and down.

I watched both IU and Butler play basketball last night.

They both lost.

My brother Joe is at home.  There's nothing more his doctors can do.

IU's men's basketball team won Sunday night, but it wasn't pretty.

It has lots of work to do.

The Colts played their best game of the season yesterday, but lost to the Steelers.

The Colts finally won another game Sunday.

I had deer meat for the first time this weekend.  One of my aides brought it.

My daytime aide company failed to cover the dinner shift last night.

I didn't eat until after 10.
