Friday, May 25, 2018

Noblesville

There was a school shooting in Noblesville this morning.

I don't think ending these things is a matter of law or politics.  It's cultural.  We need to see the individual, not some manner of group, as the foundation of a democratic society.  We need to respect all individuals and focus on the needs of each individual.  Doing that should raise self esteem, emphasize the value of each human life, and help identify those who need help.

Thursday, May 24, 2018

Hopefully, we have a way forward now.

Wednesday, April 11, 2018

AOL

Just trying to keep people updated on my AOL issue.  It seems I'll get one chance each day to enter a password.  After that, they skip that step.   The problem with that is they don't show the letters you type, so I have to get it right the first time.

That might take a few days.

Weather

We had snow Monday, and it will be in the 70s tomorrow.

Winter is over.

Tuesday, April 10, 2018

Addendum

Now, thanks to my team leader, I have the AOL password, but I can't get AOL to accept it.  When I try to sign in now, it skips the password entry part.

The point of this is that all my contacts are tied to that account.  My email history, which I use as a database, is tied to that account.  If I opened a new account, I would lose all that.  I have the password now.  I just need AOL to let me enter it.

AOL Email

I can't get on AOL, so I can't get my email or send any.

The problem is the password.  I chose that years ago and saved it on my computer, so I forgot it.  Now, AOL has a new system, and you have to enter your password manually.  If you forget, they will send a code to your phone, but I can't use the phone.  Or, they'll send a code to a second email address, but my second address is on Yahoo, and when I try to get on Yahoo it's the same thing-- they want to send the code to my AOL address.

Monday, April 9, 2018

Snow

It snowed here all morning.
