My team leader tells me he'll be gone next week.

Something seems to happen whenever he leaves.

I stayed in my living room a little later last night to watch the IU basketball game.

It was a really odd game, and IU lost.

Super Bowl

For now, I'm picking the Eagles in the Super Bowl.

My friend Dennise did the night shift last night.

It was great to have her back.

Space Paper

So, a paper I wrote for a conference looking at the social impact of moving into space, to be held in April in Reno, has been accepted, but since I can't go and present it, I'm not sure it'll be used.

Too bad.

Mom

Yesterday was the fourth anniversary of Mom's passing.

I recently lost my brother Joe, too.  This is not the best of times.

Tough Night

The overnight aide didn't show up last night.

I slept on the living room floor, and I had to pee my pants twice.

Colonoscopy

I'm not feeling great today.

The prospect of a colonoscopy is weighing on me.

Tonight I start a another period without one of my regular nighttime aides.

I'll be glad when they're all back.

The Vikings and Saints played a remarkable playoff game yesterday.

It's a tough day outside today.

I think they have the aide situation worked out, though.

My former aide Dennise came by yesterday.  She's going to help out while Folorunso is away.

It was good to see her again.

Another really cold snap is due this weekend.

So, Georgia lost last night.

The Colts could do worse than pick either one of their running backs to eventually replace Frank Gore.

Alabama and Georgia play for the college football championship tonight.

I'm picking the Bulldogs.

Baseball spring training opens next month.

It looks to be another down season for IU men's basketball.

I hope this cold goes away soon.

This is why January is my least favorite month.

The Colts fired Chuck Pagano Sunday.

Too bad.  He seems to be a good guy and a good coach, and this season wasn't even largely his fault.
