Monitor

My computer has always gone into sleep mode at night, but the monitor has stayed on the last two nights.

I don't know why.

Rabbits

I went out last night, and I saw four rabbits.

Pretty cool.

Novel

I should finish my novel soon.

Then comes rewrites.

No Cleaning

So, the carpet cleaners didn't come yesterday.

Too bad.

Carpet Cleaning

The apartment complex is supposed to clean my carpets today.

Nobody's been here yet.

Weight

I got weighed this morning, and I weigh 136.

During my cancer treatments, I got down to 93.

Rain

We're finally getting some rain today.

That's good.

Baseball

I voted for the baseball All-Star Game yesterday.

It's fun.

Jon

I heard from my brother Jon in Texas yesterday.

Everything is going well down there.

Sedation

I have to get weighed so the dentist will know how much sedative to give me.  I've never had to do that before-- not even before bladder surgery.

Odd.

News

I've taken to watching FOXNews to get broader coverage, and usually CBS to get the mainstream take on the news.

It's too bad there's such an obvious difference.

Evan

My aide Yodit'a oldest son, Evan, is going to Purdue in the fall.

It's a great accomplishment.

Summer

Summer officially starts next week.

Actually, however, it's been here a while.

Agents

I'll soon be ready to start contacting literary agents again.

Since my old AOL account got hacked, I'll have to build a new database.

Pillow

A new aide woke me up three times Friday night worried about my pillow.

Odd.

One of my favorite aides just told me she wants to move away.

Bummer.

Heat

It's going to be a hot weekend.

I'll just stay in.

Novel

I'm finally coming to the end of the novel I'm writing.

Just a few more weeks.

Aides

My aide Mia was ill last weekend, but she came, and Yodit came last night even though she'd injured her knee.

Life is tough.

Kim

My sister Kim visited me yesterday morning.

She's had a tough few months.

Shift

My daytime aide company blew another shift yesterday.

It worked out, though.
