My sister-in-law Robin gave me some homemade tomato jam.

The Colts opened training camp yesterday.

I think they'll be better this season.

Dogs

I'll probably go out when Yodit gets here tonight.

Hopefully,we'll see some dogs.

Pirates

My Pirates have won 10 in a row.

They're back in the playoff hunt.

Robin

My brother Joe's widow, Robin, came over yesterday morning with my brother Jeff and his wife, Susan.

We had a good visit.

Agent

Now, I have to get serious about finding a literary agent.

Hopefully, lightning will strike.

Space Week

July 16 to 20 used to be unofficially called Space Week for the Apollo 11 mission.

I don't know if they still do that.

Fans

Having a fan on me too long makes me cold.

I'm getting old.

Novels

I'm about ready to begin offering two more of my novels.

I need to find a literary agent.

Friday

My daytime aide company blew both mealtime shifts Friday.

Luckily, my nighttime aide Yodit misread her clock and came early that evening.

Blown Shift

No aide came on my lunch shift today.

Too bad.

Yodit

My aide Yodit got a new vehicle, and she is very happy.

I'm happy for her.

Carpet

A guy cleaned my carpet again this morning.

I'm not sure why.

Revising

I'm revising one of my novels.

I'm pleased so far.

Mac

We had a Scottie when I was a boy.  His name was Mac.

He was a good dog.  Yesterday was his birthday.

Pirates

Hopefully I'll get to see my Pirates play tonight.

They're not on television much.

Fireworks

I didn't see the fireworks last night because of overcast, but I heard them.

I did see fireflies.

Thomas Jefferson and John Adams both died July 4, 1826.

Reportedly, Adams' last words were "Jefferson lives."

UFOsq

I saw that yesterday was World UFO Day.

Studying that topic is a sort of hobby of mine.

Lunch

My aide Jim made me lunch today.

I'm still not sure what it was, but it was good.
