Well, Notre Dame got blitzed Saturday, but the Colts made the playoffs last night.

Fifty years ago today, Apollo 8 launched to the Moon.

That was the mission that got me interested in space.

My sinuses are acting up again.  I guess it's the milder weather we're having.

The Pacers lost last night, but they're doing well this season.

That's good for the city and the NBA.

Patriots

If the Patriots had beaten the Steelers Sunday, the Colts would've been in good shape to make the playoffs.

You might know, the one time I want the Patriots to win, they lose.

The Colts shut out the Cowboys yesterday.

They have a real shot at the playoffs with two games to go.

Decorations

My aide Robin has decorated my apartment for Christmas.

It's really nice, and so is she.

Christmas Shopping

I'm officially finished with my Christmas shopping.

My niece's book was delivered.

TV Glitch

I rarely watch prime time network television anymore, but I watched CBS Monday night because I couldn't get anything else.

I'm not missing much.

Sad News

A man died here in my apartment complex yesterday,  His dog had fallen through the ice on a pond, and the man was trying to save it. 

The dog is fine.

Colts

The Colts won again yesterday, beating the Texans.

They're still in the playoff hunt.

Derek Henry

Derek Henry of the Tennessee Titans had a 99-yard run last night.

It was a terrific effort.

Jon

Today is my brother Jon's 46th birthday,

He's living in Texas and doing well.

IU Hoops

IU won its second conference game last night, both by two points.

It's a start.

President G. H. W. Bush

George H. W. Bush died last Friday at 94.

My brother Joe met him once.  Joe worked at Honda, and they met at some big Honda event.  Joe got Mr. Bush to autograph one of his books for me.

The Colts were shut out by the lowly Jaguars yesterday.
