This is the last day of February, which is always good.

IU won another big game last night, beating Wisconsin.

It took double overtime, but they did it.

There were lots of power outages around here Sunday.

I'm glad my power stayed on.

We had snow, sleet, high winds, and sunshine yesterday.

Today would have been George Washington's 287th birthday.

Too bad we don't specifically celebrate it anymore.  He was a remarkable man.

Duke lost last nigh after Zion Williamson was injured when his shoe blew out.

Very odd.

Manny Machado just signed a 10-year, $300 million baseball contract.

I wonder bow much Babe Ruth could have gotten today.

I was notified yesterday that an article I wrote will be published in Futures journal.

I'm not getting paid, but it might lead somewhere.

I have a sinus headache today.

I'm watching the Westminster Dog Show, as I do every year.

I love seeing all the dogs.

Mom

Today would have been Mom's 85th birthday.

I still think of her every day.

Aide

The aide I usually have Friday was in a traffic accident on her way here this morning.

I'm told she's fine.

The political situation in Virginia has gone crazy the past few days.

Incredible.

Telluride

I'm seeing a television commercial for the Telluride Ski Resort in Colorado.

I've been to Telluride, and I'd love to go back.

Novel

It seems abortion is coming back as a major national issue.

That might help my novel currently at a literary agent.  It involves the politics surrounding abortion.

Patriots Win Again

Well, it was an interesting Super Bowl.

I kept waiting for something to happen.  Nothing much ever did.
