TV Stuff

Here's the deal.  MLB Network never did come on the TV in my office yesterday, but when I went into the living room and turned it on, everything was fine.


Who knows what happened.

My MLB Network is currently frozen.

Very odd.

Romeo Langford is officially leaving IU for the NBA.

He could've used another year in college.

FUTURES

I have an article in the FUTURES journal out now.

I didn't get paid for it, but it might lead somewhere.

Pioneers

I'm reading a book called PIONEERS, about the founding and settling of Marietta, Ohio, the first settlement in the Northwest Territory, which became the states of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

It's a good book.

Aide

Last evening and this morning I've had an aide I had years ago.

It's been nice.

Storms

We had more storms this morning.

I didn't lose power, though.

One of my main aides was in the hospital last weekend.

Hopefully, she'll be fine.

Pirates

My Pirates are hanging in, four games over ,500.

Josh Bell is on a tear.

We had more storms yesterday, and I was concerned about losing power again.

I didn't.

Powerless

I was without power for about 8 hours last night.

It was no fun.

Bathroom

I had to pee in the middle of the night last night.

It was the first time in years.

Snow

I saw over the weekend that commencement ceremonies at the University of Colorado were held in snow.

Wow.

My brother Jon and his family are moving back to Indiana from Texas this summer.

It's great news.

Friday

I didn't post here Friday because the Internet was in my apartment.

I gather it was a router issue.

Sinuses

I'm having sinus issues at night, which leads to acid reflux issues, which has led to vomiting the last two nights.

It's something I deal with, especially when the weather changes.

Weather

We're finally into a weather regime that should hold into October.

It should help my sinuses.

Projects

I have several projects out to various literary agents.

Hopefully, something will connect.

Aides

So far, I haven't heard anything about a change in aides this week.

We'll see.

My daytime aide company is failing to cover shifts again today.

It's unfortunate and unprofessional.

500 Month

We're int Indy 500 month.

I guess that's still the way most people know about Indiana.

I see the Colts signed Spencer Ware yesterday.

He's a good back.
