Today is the trading deadline in major league baseball.

My daytime aide company blew another shift today.

We're getting back to the bad old days.

Cookout

We had at family cookout at Jeff and Susan's house Saturday.  It was great.

Jon, Angela, and Callie have moved back to Indiana from Texas.

Again

As of now, my daytime aide company is failing to staff the first two shifts today.

It's becoming almost predictable.  Again.

Carpet

The apartment complex cleaned my carpets Monday.

So, that's out of the way.

I watched the Mueller testimony this morning.

It was sad.   Mueller is clearly past his prime.

Novel

I queried a literary agent Sunday about one of my novels, and she asked to read the manuscript.

We'll see what happens.

Apollo 11

I watched a new documentary on the Apollo 11 mission last night.

It had lots of good footage,

Heat

We have a heat wave over the next few days.

Yuck.

Aide

One of my favorite aides has quit my daytime aide company.

Too bad.

Yodit

My main aide Yodit will be gone for a few weeks.

I will miss her.

Baseball

I watched parts of 5 baseball games this weekend.

Pretty fun.

MLB

The MLB season picks up today in earnest after the All-Star break.

My Pirates are in the thick of the playoff chase.

Youtube

My computer acted up yesterday.  I was trying to watch videos on Youtube, and I could get the music, sort of, but not the speech.

Strange.

Weather

We/re having a very hot week.

Who knows what the weather in Indiana will be six months from now.

All-Star Game

Tonight is the major league All-Star Game.

I predict several home runs.

Lights

I have some aides who turn the lights on in my apartment in broad daylight and fail to turn them off when they leave.

Two of my main aides are back as of yesterday, which is good.

One of them is a new grandma.

Today isWorld UFO Day.

They have days for all kinds of stuff.

My regular weekend aide took this past weekend off, and my daytime aide company only covered three of the six shifts,
