My aide Yodit told me Saturday night she thought I had gained weight since the first time she saw me here in my new home. Then, she said, I looked bad, but she didn't say anything about it. That was a few weeks after the last time she'd seen me at the nursing home.
Now, she says, I look healthier. My face looks fuller. Lately, my aide rotation has settled into a good routine, and we are getting to know each other better. That helps.
